Turtle Beach combines the typical Barbados beach holiday with extensive facilities, an excellent choice of restaurants and a lively atmosphere with some great evening entertainment. A member of the Elegant Hotels Group, families love Turtle Beach as the facilities are so good, especially for children. An all-suite resort, it is perfect for couples too. You can get away from it all in the peace and luxury of your suite or along the extensive beach, but if you prefer some company then this is a great place to meet and make new friends.

Location : On the south coast, approximately 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Bridgetown.

Accommodation : 162 recently refurbished, spacious Junior Suites and One Bedroom Suites with views of the ocean or pool/gardens. All feature air-conditioning, stylish new furnishings, flat screen TV, iPod docking station, unstocked mini-fridge and a patio or balcony. The Ocean View Junior Suites have a partial ocean view; the best views are from the Ocean Front Junior Suites.

Facilitis:  3 restaurants, each with its own bar – the al fresco Chelonia serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; the more casual Waterfront Café serves daytime snacks and dinner; and the stylish Asiagos Italian restaurant for dinner (adults only, Tuesday to Saturday). There is live entertainment on most evenings, 2 swimming pools, a children's pool, 2 floodlit tennis courts, state-of-the-art gym and complimentary watersports. The Kids’ Club is open daily from 9am to 9pm for children between 3-11 yrs.

Special Information : Children under 13 yrs are not permitted in Asiagos Restaurant. Please note that the south coast of Barbados is more exposed to the prevailing wind than the west coast and, as a result, swimming and watersports may occasionally be inadvisable, especially for children. Nevertheless, the stunning white beach is spectacularly wide and picturesque.
