Immerse yourself in the bustling and vibrant capital Mexico City, stare in wonder at ancient Aztec ruins, and indulge in some of the tastiest food and drink in the world. It doesnât stop there, youâll also visit the famed Frida Kahlo Museum, the Teotihuacan Ruins and the community of Oaxaca. As you experience the music, Indigenous history, and people of this beautiful country youâll learn that Mexico is a cultural giant, ancient and brand-new at the same time.
Day 1 Mexico City

Day 2 Mexico City
Start your day with a visit to Mexico Cityâs historic square ZĂłcalo, before checking out the local cuisine at a food market. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore and opt to visit the National Museum of Anthropology or tour the murals of Diego Rivera. If youâre feeling musical, choose to spend your evening at a traditional dance performance.
Day 3 Mexico City
Itâs off to the UNESCO World Heritage site for a guided tour of TeotihuacĂĄn this morning. This ancient city has become one of the most important sites in Central America. Wander the pre-Aztec ruins and learn about iconic temples before returning to Mexico City for a free evening. Choose to eat, drink, dance, or watch a match of freestyle Mexican wrestling as the night unfolds.
Day 4 Mexico City/Puebla
Experience a gorgeous sunrise tour of Xochimilco, a system of canals built by the Aztecs and stop at a local farm to eat a traditional breakfast. Then itâs onwards to the Frida Kahlo Museum in the CoyoacĂĄn district to tour Casa Azul. Afterwards, journey on to Puebla and take a guided walk of the city to learn about the colonial architecture and culinary traditions of this lively place.
Day 5 Puebla
Join a local artist for a Talavera pottery demonstration to learn about the cultural and historical significance of this tradition. Enjoy the rest of the day as you wish; visit a colourful market in Puebla, indulge in local tastes on a food tour, or check out the Great Pyramid of Cholula.
Day 6 Puebla/Oaxaca
Itâs on to Oaxaca today, but first weâll stop en route to learn about alebrijes at an artisan community. Enjoy a guided walk around the main square in Oaxaca before exploring the culinary scene with a local host. End the experience in a local familyâs kitchen for a taste of some delicious Oaxacan dishes; itâs a day of food and culture.
Day 7 Oaxaca
Tour one of Mexicoâs best known archaeological sites; the ruins of Mitla. Before returning to Oaxaca weâll stop at a mezcal factory for a taste of Tequilaâs cousin made from the agave plant. Enjoy a free evening in Oaxaca to lay low or head out for a fun night.
Day 8 Oaxaca/Mexico City
This morning is yours to enjoy. Walk among the plazas and pyramids of the Monte AlbĂĄn ruins, or choose to visit the Museum of Oaxacan Cultures. Feeling hungry? Try learning how to make mole sauce; or people watch in a cafĂ© in Oaxacaâs main square. In the afternoon, hop on a flight back to Mexico City where you can choose to enjoy a final night out with your group.
