The Palms

The Palms is an elegant, classically Caribbean boutique hotel that occupies 12 acres of Grace Bay beach, one of the loveliest white sand beaches on Earth. There are just 72 suites, all with private terrace or balcony, king-sized bed, WiFi, cable TV, espresso maker, CD/DVD player and in-room safe. The Junior Suites include a kitchenette with a microwave and mini-fridge, while the higher categories have a fully equipped kitchen plus an in-suite washer/dryer. There are plenty of great options for families, with suites offering up to three bedrooms. The penthouses enjoy the best ocean views, along with a romantic outdoor shower.

Restaurants And Bars

Each day begins with breakfast served in the garden courtyard, surrounded by tropical plants. 72°West is a relaxed beachside restaurant where lunch is served on the lower pool deck, and there are fire pits and cosy sofas for after dark, with dinner also served here in high season. Parallel23 is open for dinner only, with seating in the elegant dining room or al fresco, and the menu draws on favourites from both land and sea. Options for refreshment include a swim-up pool bar, beach bar and the atmospheric L’Attitude Bar, where you can enjoy cocktails, vintage rums and cognac, plus evening tapas. There is also a gourmet mini market where you can stock up on supplies for self-catering.

Facilities

The sinuous infinity pool is surrounded by sun pods with umbrellas, chilled towels plus fresh fruit kebabs served every afternoon, and there is also a hot tub. The 25,000-square-foot spa offers a range of soothing treatments, and there is a well-equipped fitness centre and floodlit tennis court, plus daily yoga and Pilates classes. Complimentary non-motorised watersports on offer include kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling and Hobie Cat sailing, while the Conch Kritters kids’ club lays on activities for children aged 4-12 yrs.
