Brela is a delightful resort on the Makarska Riviera and this Bluesun Soline hotel has one of the best locations on the coast for a very enjoyable relaxing Croatia holiday for adults or families.

ROOMS

206 air-conditioned, recently refurbished rooms including a few Suites. Most are spacious. All with balcony. Standard and Superior rooms. All twin rooms. These are 2 large twin beds that can be presented together or separately. Please request when booking. Some have extra double sofabed for 2. Views are both inland and seaside. Some higher floor rooms, seaside have fabulous views (can request, not guaranteed). Safe, mini-bar, satellite TV and hairdryer. Most rooms have bath with shower. A few also have additional, separate walk-in shower.

Free Wi-fi and throughout hotel. Polished wood floor. Light wood and pastel décor.

LIVING

Main restaurant for buffet breakfast and half board dinner. Buffets are extensive and use local produce where possible. Wide choice of hot and cold starters, Mediterranean corner (salads), usually 5 main dish choices plus fresh pasta. Most days there is a “carving station” featuring English style roasts. Café has pretty terrace full of trees very close to the beach. Outdoor pool has distinct wall design using local stone. Stylish pool terrace and pool bar. Large indoor pool with unique cave area. Light changing therapy in the cave. Whole pool and Spa area covers 1400m² cleverly designed with plants and trees creating patio effect. Sunbeds are free, pool towels cost around 60 pence for day’s hire. Small children’s pool. Aqua-aerobics are part of animation programme. Right on the waterfront. Only coastal pedestrian promenade. No cars here. 3 superb beaches, 2 small white pebbles, 1 paved. All fringed with pines that come right down to the beach. Sunbeds on beach (not hotel operated. Charge applies). From June to September beach sports include pedalo hire and parasailing. Extensive Spa centre. Finnish sauna and Turkish steam room (charge applies, approx. £10 for 3 hours). Wide massage menu including local herbs and oils. Big, well equipped gym. Billiard table. Hairdresser. Souvenir shop.

Live music at least 3 evenings a week. Adults and children’s entertainment programme. Small outdoor stage. Free children’s club (ages 3-12 year) at nearby Hotel Marina (June-September). Just 3 minutes walk to the centre of Brela. Around 20 minutes to Baska Voda, adjoining resort.
